Lost Dog: Juliet and Romeo

What if Romeo & Juliet didn’t die in a tragic misunderstanding?
What if they lived happily ever after. Until the pressures of being the worlds most romantic couple caught up with them, along with middle-age and the inevitable accompanying crisis.
Marriage guidance hasn’t worked, so they’ve decided to share their struggles with the world, in a biographical show, coming to a venue near you.

Their therapist told them it was a terrible idea…………

Join the award-winning company Lost Dog as they explore the alternative ending to the greatest romantic tragedy of all time, through theatre, comedy and dance.

Directed by Olivier Award nominee, Ben Jukes, this exciting re-telling of a Shakespearean classic will have you laughing and crying - sometimes both at once.

‘It's not often you're doubled over with laughter and wiping away tears of sadness during the same show. Given the components that come together in Juliet & Romeo, however, it's no surprise.’ ***** The Scotsman

Daryl & Co and Half Moon: Boxed In

A quirky, thought-provoking exploration of the unspoken rules that shape our lives.

Meet Derek and Jon, two friends trying to understand life’s strange instructions. When “stop” means “go”, “up” turns into “down” and no one explains why – what do you do? Everyone else seems to know the way, but what if you just don’t get it?

Boxed In is a playful and thought-provoking journey about feeling left out, not because you’ve done something wrong, but because the world doesn’t always play fair. It’s a story for anyone who’s ever felt a bit confused, a bit left out, or a bit boxed in.

Through movement, visual storytelling, humour and a touch of chaos, Boxed In explores the invisible rules of behaviour, the way people act and what others think you should do – and invites us all to imagine a world where everyone feels they belong

A co-production by Daryl & Co. and Half Moon, Boxed In is an exciting collaboration between a ground-breaking Disabled-led theatre company and the UK’s leading small-scale young people’s venue and touring company.

Boxed In is largely non-verbal. This makes it accessible to a wide range of people, including d/Deaf, hard of hearing, BSL users and non-English speakers.  Accessible. Inclusive. Made for everyone.
